KENDALL DAIRY

Kendall Dairy is a satellite farm located approximately 20 miles from Lakin Dairy and Feedyard near Syracuse, Kansas. Equipped with a double 25 Parallel parlor, the dairy currently milks 1,800 cows housed in dry lot pens. Kendall Dairy is positioned to become the primary freshening site for Silverstreak Dairies in 2025-2026. Unlike the alfalfa-rich landscape around Lakin Dairy, Kendall Dairy is situated in an area with different growing conditions, allowing us to diversify crop options by incorporating crops like triticale and wheat. Future plans include building new free stall barns for close-up and post-fresh cattle, constructing a new milk mixing facility, and becoming the central location for housing dry cows and calf hutches.

Focuses: Milk quality and high-quality maternity and calf care
